MBBS Admission for Foreign Students

Admission of Foreign Students

Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College welcomes international students from different countries to pursue the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program. Admission of foreign students is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh, and the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

Eligibility for Foreign Applicants

Applicants must have completed Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations with a science background, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Candidates should fulfill the minimum academic requirements prescribed by the Government of Bangladesh and obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Admission Procedure

International applicants are required to submit their academic transcripts, passport copy, photographs, and other necessary documents through the Bangladesh Embassy/High Commission in their respective countries. All applications are processed according to the admission policy of the Government of Bangladesh. Final admission is confirmed after document verification, eligibility approval, and payment of the prescribed fees.

  • SSC/O-Level and HSC/A-Level or Equivalent Certificates & Transcripts
  • Valid Passport Copy
  • Recent Passport-sized Photographs
  • Eligibility Certificate from DGHS
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Police Clearance Certificate (if applicable)

Course Fee

Tuition fees and other charges for international students are determined by the college authority in accordance with government regulations. Detailed fee information is provided during the admission process.

Medical Checkup

All admitted international students must undergo a medical examination before enrollment. Students are required to submit a medical fitness certificate issued by a recognized healthcare institution.
